A TRENDY GAL - Simple Diet on Weekdays & Weekends

Weekdays
Whatever diet they are on, most dieters find it fairly easy to stick to their diet plan during the week. There's lots of reasons for this - you're usually too busy to cheat, if you are at work or out and about there's no easily abaiable fridge or cupboard of goodies to tempt you, and you probably hae less of a social life during the week to derail things. The result is that weekdays are definitely more diet friendly and it's the reason why, on this diet, you are going to stick to an organized eatingplan from Monday to Friday.

This plan contains three low-calorie but high-nutrient meals a day, plus a couple of snacks. It's full of foods that fill you up, but it's also planned around high levels of foods shown to boost your metabolism and encourage fat burning, which potentially increases your weight loss further, instead of eating the same number of calories made up from other foods. This combination calorie boost means that it is Monday to Friday when you will primarily lose weight on this diet plan. Over the weekend all you are aiming to do is maintain your weight loss, ready to start the next diet spurt again come Monday.

Weekends

At weekends you will relax a bit - just like you do mentally and physically when the usual MOnday to Friday routine stops. From Saturday morning untill Sunday night you can eat any food you like - chocolate, chips, Chinese takeouts anything you like - just as long as you stick to some simple guidelines. In a nutshell, thses guidelines teach you to get back in touch with you body so you can determine what it really needs in terms of the good you eat.

Taking time off dieting every weekend also means you will effectively recharge your diet batteries. YOu will be able to give in to any cravings you have had during the week so they won't plague you next week and stall your weight loss, and you can ejoy social events without feeling that you are cheating and triggering the associated guilt binge. As evert hour of your weekend off ticks by, your motivationrenews so that by the time Monday comes you will be ready to repeat your successes of the week before. It maight sound like a gimmick but there are actually good scientific reasons why the diet can work.
